To ease the tension of being roommates, Ted and Robin start to sleep together, enraging Barney. Marshall has trouble finding a restroom to “read a magazine” at his new job. Lily encourages Barney to tell Robin he loves her, and Ted breaks off the “benefits” when he recognizes Barney’s feelings. Barney attempts to tell Robin he loves her, but a misunderstanding stops the message from getting through to her.
